About Me

I believe in a collaborative process between my clients and myself.  I encourage my clients to identify their goals for treatment and my role is to help in facilitating that.  Together we will determine the best treatment strategies to help meet their individual or family needs.  I plan on assisting and supporting my clients to meet their own individual needs and achieving their ultimate goals throughout the counseling experience.  I strongly believe in the therapeutic relationship between counselor and client; it is important to build a safe and trusting relationship with one another thus allowing you to be open and honest as you move forward in your counseling experience.

I received my Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling at Gonzaga University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005 from Lewis-Clark State College.  I have extensive working experience with children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide variety of mental health/behavioral issues.

Titles I hold include:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) # LH 60180413
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP)
  • Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS)
  • Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC)
  • Approved Clinical Supervisor in Behavioral Health

Previous employment and training have been with the YWCA Domestic Violence Program, Lutheran Community Services Northwest, Frontier Behavioral Health and Excelsior Youth Center.
